Svensk Däckåtervinning lyfts internationellt
Tyre & Rubber Recycling är en brittisk tidning som belyser internationella framsteg inom däckåtervinning. Tidigare i höstas bjöd dem in Svensk Däckåtervinnings VD Fredrik Ardefors för samtal om verksamhetens kommande förändringar.

"In January 2023, the Swedish EPR system will se a change of direction with more focus on material recovery (...). From the beginning, it was more a matter of not having tyres out in the forest but collecting them in a structured way. Not so much focus on what to do with the material, bur rather ensuring that the tyres did not end up in the wrong place (...). Now it is a matter of using the material or the energy in the tyres for good purposes to reduce the draw on natural resources from our planet".
SDAB såg att trenden började gå åt fel håll, där materialåtervinningen börja minska, när den borde öka. Detta blev början på "Projekt SDAB 2.0".
