The aftermarket’s most extensive selection of premium engine speed and position sensors is to be unveiled by world-leading ignition and sensor manufacturer NGK SPARK PLUG EUROPE at Automechanika Frankfurt under its NTK Vehicle Electronics brand.

The introduction of engine speed and position sensors – just one of several NGK announcements anticipated at the show – marks a further significant expansion of the OE-quality NTK sensors portfolio, following the launch of its mass air flow (MAF), manifold absolute pressure and manifold/boost pressure sensor (MAP) ranges at Automechanika 2016.

The new NTK range will deliver 88% coverage of the European car parc, creating new business opportunities and making it the first premium brand to offer an OE-specification replacement sensor for almost every application.

Other product groups already available under the NTK brand include oxygen/lambda sensors, exhaust gas temperature sensors and nitrogen oxide (NOx) sensors – two of which will have range extensions and harmonisations announced at the show.
